Characterful & family friendly, Ghyll Stile Mill Cottage near Sedbergh is a peaceful base for a self catering holiday close to both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Dating from the 17th Century, the cottage retains plenty of original features and boasts an enclosed garden. Two dogs are also welcome and we supply dog beds. The cottage is the ideal base for exploring the area with the M6 three minutes drive away and great walks in both the Yorkshire Dales & around Lake Windermere close-by.
The cottage is equipped with two bedrooms including a double bedroom & twin bedroom with additional Z bed for an occasional 5th guest. The bedrooms share use of a family bathroom with shower & the kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, electric cooker, microwave & coffee machine. Guests can also use the owners freezer on request. The sitting/ dining room offers an open fire and French doors lead out into the garden.

The cottage is very family friendly with cot, cot bedding, baby bath, high chair, fire-guard, safety gate & changing mat all provided. Indoor and outdoor toys are also provided. A starter box of groceries, home made bread & local free range eggs can be provided for your stay. Short breaks of 3 nights nights or more may be available during Winter.
