The cottage is available on a self catering or bed and breakfast basis and accommodates two people. This holiday accommodation is excellent value and set in a romantic location, perfect for exploring the Dales.
Bishop Monkton is a charming country village with a winding stream and ford and two excellent country pubs serving great food and good beer. The village is well served by a general store, art gallery, hair dresser, church and chapel. On the edge of the village is a new village hall with cricket and football pitches, flat county bowling green, croquet lawns and a children's play area. The surrounding countryside provides ample opportunities for walking, bird watching, golf and angling. Bishop Monkton is conveniently located between Harrogate and Ripon, well placed for touring the Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire Moors, Fountains Abbey and York.
