Spoutscroft Cottage is ideally placed in the beautiful Yorkshire country village of Austwick, with local pub and shops all nearby. We're close to superb Yorkshire Dales attractions such as the Settle & Carlisle Steam Railway, limestone scars, caves, open moors, the "Three Peaks", and there are wonderful walks and cycle tracks on the doorstep. Spoutscroft Cottage has been awarded a prestigious 5 star grading from the ETC for superior quality and comfort. Non smoking throughout, the cottage sleeps from 1 to 4 guests, and pets are welcome by arrangement but are not to be left in the cottage unattended.
The luxury interior decor of the cottage combines modern facilities with original character. The interior includes a sitting/dining room with flagged floor, open fire, window seat and exposed stonework. The cottage kitchen is well equipped, with hand made pine cupboards, granite worktops and "Belfast" sink. Fully inclusive are towels, linen, and coal supply. The relaxing cottage garden has garden furniture and solar-powered garden lights and unrestricted roadside parking is directly outside the cottage.
The cottage has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and both are exquisitely decorated with brass hedsteads, "Sanderson" soft furnishings and stripped pine floorboards. The bathroom has three piece suite, plus beamed ceiliing. A small sitting room is situated upstairs with stunning views out onto open countryside. Central heating is throughout, with open coal fire, electric fire, oil-filled radiator, and electric towel rail provided. The cottage benefits from double glazing and a "Pay as you Go" mobile phone is available for emergency use only. Children and babies are welcome, and a cot is also available by request.
The cottage is personally supervised by the owner who lives nearby. All modern facilities are provided, and include an electric cooker, microwave, slow cooker, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, food mixer, breadmaker, electric steamer, sandwich toaster, dishwasher, automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, iron/ironing board, 2 colour televisions, DVD player and DVD's, video player and videos, 2 micro CD systems, foot spa/massager, hair dryers and shaver points.
