Visit Websitefor more informationThe Byres Holiday Cottage is a 4 star self catering property in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales 3 Peaks, sleeping 2-6 people. This delightful 18th century stone barn features exposed beams and a private secluded patio area with rockery garden, plenty of seating on various levels, washing line & BBQ. There is also a separate private walled, lawned garden next to the parking area for 2 cars containing further seating .
The Byres is set in the traditional stone hamlet of Selside. 3 miles north of Horton-in-Ribblesdale in the centre of the three peaks,Ingleborough Whernside,Phenygent. An ideal base for walking & touring the whole of the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, West Coast, Forest Of Bowland,&Pennines . The famous Settle to Carlisle railway is nearby with the stations of Ribblehead & Horton-in-Ribblesdale both only been 3 miles away. There are walks from the door.A short walk away are the caves of Alum Pot which are situated on the farm, you need to be an experienced caver or hire a guide to go down them.Ingleton watewfalls, Whitescar caves,Malham cove Ingleborough caves/nature trail are all close by.
There are 3 bedrooms 1 kingsize, 1 double & 1 twin. All beds are fully made up on your arrival. Bedrooms contain wardrobes, bedside tables with lamps, chests of drawers, mirrors, bins & chairs. The double bedroom enjoys lovely views up Simons fell to Inglebrough.Bathroom with shower, bath,toilet & sink. Spacious Kitchen with Electric cooker, Fridge & Freezer, Kettle, washer, Microwave, Iron & Toaster. Large cosy sitting room with Coal fire, Electric fire in summer, Colour TV with Sky freesat & DVD Player . Beautiful dining room with CD player, CD's, Board games and books.Glass fronted entrance porch with room for boots and coats.Night storage heating throughout.
A cot & high chair are also available. Parking is available for 2 cars on the paved area outside The Byres. Outside there is also a building for bike storage, hanging your waterproofs for drying & a tumble dryer for your use. 1 well behaved dog is allowed out of season, when only upto 4 people staying at a charge of £12 per week. Dogs must not be left in the cottage on there own.
The prices are for 1 week from Saturday 3p.m to Saturday 10 a.m. Prices include fuel, electricity, bed linen & towels.
