'The Old Dairy' is an idyllic former milking parlour perfect for two people and is over 200 years old. The holiday cottage has been lovingly converted to a very high specification retaining many original features such as oak beams and stonework. The atmosphere is cosy yet spacious and antique furniture and log burning stove are combined with fresh contemporary colour schemes. The property has the added benefits of a choice of 2 single or 1 super king size bed, a private patio, garden and car parking spaces. Guests can also enjoy superb uninterrupted views of the Washburn Valley from the cottage. The Old Dairy really is the perfect tranquil retreat but only a short distance from Harrogate and Skipton. We offer short breaks (2 night min.)starting on any day of the week and opens all year round. The property is detached and all on 1 ground floor level.It contains 1 double bedroom with a choice of 1 super king size or 2 single beds.It has a separate shower room with toilet, wash basin and shaver point. There's an open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area opening out onto a pretty cottage garden.Guests can relax in the private patio area and garden, and there is parking space for 2 cars.

The cottage is equipped with all modern amenities, including Sky TV, microwave,all towels/linen included, coal/logs for multi-fuel stove,full central heating,electricity included and a 24 hour laundry service. Video tapes and board games are also provided, as is a colour TV/video/DVD,CD player, bicycles and a BBQ. We welcome small babies with own travel cot and guests are welcomed on arrival with a refreshments welcome pack.Unfortunately we do not allow pets, and the cottage is a no smoking accommodation. Guests should note there is no public transport in the local village, and the property is not suitable for wheelchairs.

The holiday cottage bedroom sleeps 2 people and has twin beds or a 6ft double, original oak beams and patio doors leading onto the private and pretty garden.Magnificent views of the Washburn Valley can be seen from all aspects of the cottage.The open plan lounge/dining and separate kithen areas have the benefit of a log burning stove, oak beams and patio doors leading onto the garden.We are very proud to have been awarded the prestigious Visit Britain 4 Star Grading for the 5th year running.

Situated in the beautiful Hamlet of Timble and only 8 miles from the famous spa town of Harrogate and 8 miles from the 'Gateway to the Dales',Skipton. It is surrounded by the beautiful Washburn Valley and some of the most spectacular scenery,walks and fishing in the Dales. The Old Dairy is a perfect get away retreat. We also are very conveniently situated for conference delegates travelling to Harrogate who require an 'out of town' base. Our ethos is to provide and maintain quality and luxury for our guests.
