Located in the beautiful hamlet of Timble, close to both Harrogate and Skipton it is the perfect base from which to explore the Dales. The 200 year old cottage has been lovingly converted to a very high specification retaining many original features such as oak beams and stonework. The atmosphere is cosy yet spacious with antique furniture and log burning stove. Guests can also enjoy uninterrupted views of the Washburn Valley from the cottage.
Timble is perfect for walking, cycling, sightseeing and fishing, and we are just 5 minutes walk from the reservoirs of Fewston and Swinsty. The village has a pub which serves excellent food is only a 2 minute walk away. Our central position puts us close to Harrogate, Skipton, Otley, Pateley Bridge, Ripon, Knaresborough and York. There is something to do for everyone, whether it be visiting country houses, gardens, historic sites, stunning towns and villages, restaurants or pubs.

The holiday cottage is equipped with all modern amenities including Sky TV, Bang and Olufsen TV,microwave, towels, linen, coal, logs for multi-fuel stove, full central heating, electricity and a 24 hour laundry service. DVD,CD player with Ipod dock, bicycles and a BBQ. The cottage is detached and all on ground level. The bedroom sleeps 2 people and has twin beds or a 6ft double with pocket sprung quality mattresses, original oak beams and patio doors leading onto the private and pretty garden.The open plan lounge/dining and separate kitchen areas have the benefit of a log burning stove and also opens on to the patio.
Very unique to a holiday cottage, you can book a full 'Afternoon Tea' to be served to you in the cottage. The tea consists of a sumptuous selection of home baked savoury and sweet goodies! You can also have an evening meal between Mondays and Wednesdays or on the day of arrival. A great bonus if you have had a long journey. Our ethos is to provide and maintain quality and luxury for our guests. These are continually commented on in our visitors book. We welcome small babies with own travel cot. Unfortunately we do not allow pets, and the cottage is a no smoking accommodation.
