Summertree Farm Cottages are situated at High Marishes, near Malton in beautiful North Yorkshire. There are two cottages, each situated on the ground floor and accommodating up to two people.The unspoilt beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors is right on the doorstep and the popular tourist centres of York, Whitby and Scarborough are all just half an hour's drive away. The picturesque village of Thornton-le-Dale is only a five minutes away where you will find a variety of local shops, friendly pubs and tea rooms.

Lovers of the great outdoors will be glad to hear that the Dalby Forest is virtually on the doorstep, where you will find a wealth of cycle paths, forest activities, picnic areas and spectacular views. The owners of the cottages, Bridget and Bob, live in the farmhouse close to the cottages and are on hand should you require any help but will otherwise not interfere with your stay. The cottages are maintained and equipped to a high standard and have ample off road parking for your vehicle.

Additional Information

Midsummer Mews is a single storey cottage sleeping two in one double bedroom. The kitchen is open plan and the original beams add character to the comfort! Midsummer Cottage also sleeps two people and has an open plan living area, fully enclosed secure garden and furnished patio for exclusive use. Each kitchen is well equipped with fridge, cooker, toaster, kettle, microwave, crockery, saucepans, cutlery and utensils.

Specialities

One medium or two small, well behaved pets are welcome, for a small extra charge. A charge of £15 per week for pets is donated annually at the end of each season to The Canine Defence League. Prices are inclusive of hot water, electricity and central heating.Short breaks of 3 days duration available
