The town's pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops are all within walking distance, and there is a lovely park close by which has a range of activities including zip wire, swings, slides, space net, roundabouts, football pitch and basket ball court. Also within walking distance of the accommodation is the Nidderdale swimming pool and leisure centre including gym, tennis courts, squash courts and football pitch.
Lyndale Guest House a Victorian building with lots of character.It is fully centrally heated throughout, making this the ideal base for a Yorkshire Dales visit, whatever the time of year. A full English breakfast is included in the price of your stay. The dining room has an old range type fire which is lit during the cooler months, giving the house a lovely, homely feel when you come down to breakfast each day. Rooms are very clean and decorated to a high standard, with comfy beds.
The accommodation comprises of four double en-suite rooms including 2 family rooms with extra beds. In addition there is a double and twin room with shared bathroom that could also be used as a family suite being closed of from the rest of the house. Feature fire places in 5 of the 6 rooms. There are televisions and DVDs combined in all rooms, along with tea and coffee making facilities and hair dryers. An iron and ironing board is available. Free internet access including Wi Fi
