This friendly B&B was built around 1870 and was originally used by the fishermen of the area. Set in the heart of Bridlington, the guest house is ideal for enjoying all the attractions and amenities the town has to offer. Offering comfortable B&B accommodation, great home cooked breakfasts and optional evening meals, the guest house is ideal for your visit to the Yorkshire coast.
The Chimes Guest House B&B is ideally situated in the centre of Bridlington on the Yorkshire coastline. Situated just 75 yards from the cenotaph with its gardens and seating areas and within a few minutes walk from the railway station. The Chimes is perfectly situated for easy access to the town centre shops, Spa Theatre and both the North and South beach. For outdoor pleasure Bridlington offers some of the best beaches around, with entertainment on the sea front designed to keep the kids amused all day. Maybe catch a ride on the promenade train to Sewerby Hall and Gardens which offers a great day out for all the family, with beautiful views and gardens, a small zoo and of course the displays within the house itself. Or why not check out Bridlington of yesteryear with a fascinating visit to the Beside the Seaside Museum with lots to keep you entertained whatever your age. There is also the 800 year old Gatehouse to the Priory which now houses the Bayle Museum.
The Chimes Guest House offers a choice of eight letting rooms made up of 3 doubles, 2 twin, 2 singles and 1 ensuite family room. All rooms are comfortably furnished, with hot and cold water and are centrally heated. There is a guest's bathroom and toilet, a separate shower room with toilet and a separate toilet. Hand and bath towels are provided.
On arrival, you will be welcomed with a pot of tea or coffee and biscuits. Guests have their own key, giving you access at all times. The Chimes also features a comfortable lounge area for guests to relax, chat and watch TV. A full English breakfast is served fresh each morning in the non-smoking dining room. An optional four course evening meal is available at 6pm, which can be booked during breakfast on the day and should not be missed. Limited free off street parking for three cars.
