Tudor House B&B near Skipton is an 19th century former Bell Busk Station surounded by over an acre of well-kept gardens. The property first became a guest house in the early 1980's and now offers a unique experience and a fascinating piece of local history. We currently have 6 bedrooms some with en-suite facilities and some with private facilities. Our dining room is on the ground floor with adjoining sun room packed with books, games and things to amuse. The residents lounge is a great place to come and relax after a long days sight seeing, with large south facing windows looking onto the old platform area and a log burning stove to keep out the winter chill.
We are ideally located for visiting local sites and experiencing history the area has to offer. We are 500 yards off the Penine Way and less than 4 miles away from Malham and Gordale Scar. Horse lovers will enjoy the Pony trekking that is available from the Yorkshire Dales Trekking centre in Malham. Shoppers can experience the wealth of shops, markets, cafes, bars and restauarants in the Market town of Skipton. Skipton is a great area for sight seeing with Skipton Castle one of the best preserved castles in England. A short drive away is Bolton Abbey and the village of Grassington
At The Tudor House B&B we offer 5 bedrooms & a family room with en-suite facilities and accommodating up to 5 guests. Three double rooms, 1 ground floor with easy access, 1 with views of the National Park from the front of the house and a 3rd again has great views across Malhamdale, all double rooms have en-suite facilities. One twin room with en-suite facilities and 1 single room with private bathroom. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, colour TV and hairdryer.
Children are welcome and stay free under 2 years old if you provide cot/suitable bedding. We can supply a cot at a charge of £5 per night. Children 2–12 years old receive 50% discount if staying in the family room or 25% discount if occupying their own room (plus single occupancy supplement if applicable). Packed lunches can be provided, if booked in advance, for £5.We provide a limited evening meal service. Please discuss with us when booking. We are licensed, so a glass of wine with your meal, an aperitif before visiting one of the many fine restaurants near by, or a night cap will be no problem!
