Visit Websitefor more informationWe're so proud of our fabulous, spacious holiday home in Yorkshire, near Bridlington. It's actually a former Victorian Granary and Railway Warehouse and we've carefully restored and converted it into "The Old Granary Country Retreat". With 5 suites and bedrooms sleeping 14 guests, and ample space to relax and even dance, our property really does lend itself to entertaining. The large garden leads to a small woodland beyond and there's parking for up to 14 vehicles. We're set in approx 2 acres on the edge of Burton Agnes Village, framed by the Burton Agnes Estate. It's a super base for enjoying the East and North Yorkshire Coastline, exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds,
The Old Granary is ideal for parties and families with smaller children as the noise level is reduced between the living and sleeping quarters. Outside the Courtyard provides fantastic entertaining or relaxation space with hot tub spa. Dining and seating facilities for 14 plus with a barbecue large enough to cater for everyone. The light and airy dining room easily seats 14, with its high ceiling displaying the original beams and grain hatch detail. The oak spiral staircase leads to the Lounge which spans the whole upper floor of the original Granary again provides comfortable seating for 14 and retains the vast King Trusses, hoist beams and original Cast Iron windows (now double glazed. All bedrooms have a seating area with flat screen televisions & free view. Our Cherry Shaker kitchen has large capacity cooking facilities with double oven, a 7 ring gas hob, American style double fridge / freezer, convection microwave and dishwasher. Breakfast seating for eight. The Glass Reception Hall doubles as a further reception room perfect for reading the morning news and brings the two original buildings together.
