Either way this wonderful 200 year old one bedroom holiday cottage has everything you need for the perfect break. Situated near Ripon, you are treated to picturesque scenery as well as a great location to explore the area.
The cottage which still boasts reminders of its fantastic history with traditional oak beams and wood burning stove is the perfect haven for you and your partner to enjoy a romantic break. With the popular Yorkshire town of Harrogate just a 35 minute drive away as well as Ripon just 20 minutes, there is plenty for you to see and do. On top of this the area is surrounded with spectacular walkways and cycling routes, so if you love the outdoors, then you couldn’t be better placed. Other notable places to visit within the area are Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Park, Brimham Rocks, Newby Hall and the picturesque East Yorkshire Dales. All in all whether it is for an outdoor holiday or a romantic break with your partner, Grey Green Farm Cottage is a wonderful place to enjoy your stay.
At Grey Green Farm you can relax in the comfortably furnished lounge and dining area with a traditional wood burning stove and on a cold winter’s day enjoy the warmth from the stone flagged floor with under floor heating. Great for staying in, our well equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Spend the evening relishing your home-made meal in the courtyard where table and chairs are provided, as well as a barbecue. The double bedroom has wonderful high vaulted ceilings with exposed oak beams, a fitted wardrobe, French doors, and a Juliette balcony where you can take in the amazing views. There is an en-suite bathroom with a double sized walk in shower and a heated towel rail.
Bike storage is available, as is a jet wash for muddy mountain bikes! Whilst pets aren’t allowed in the cottage they can stay in the outbuildings by prior arrangement.
