Fountain Lake Lodge is our tastefully decorated and fully furnished, 3 bedroomed Log Cabin, available for Holiday Rental, near York. This stunning Log Cabin takes prime position within the Park, sitting right on the shore of the well stocked coarse fishing lake, near to the relaxing fountain and wildlife area. The site is very peaceful and therefore the perfect place to relax or is the ideal base to discover Yorkshire tourist attractions, towns, villages and countryside. Two sets of French doors lead onto the expansive wooden decking where you can sit and relax enjoying the beautiful open grass area and the ducks swimming on the lake. Ideal for drinks and barbeques.

The lodge is close to York City Centre but is also deep within the countryside, giving access to lots of countryside walks, and bike rides, to the neighbouring villages, where you will find local gastropubs, farmers markets and the most stunning views across the countryside. You are also close to so many stately homes and gardens, Castle Howard, Nunnington Hall and Sutton Park, and have a great base to stay for York Races and Thirsk Racecourse alike

Additional Information

Open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area makes for comfortable and inclusive accommodation. At one side of the lodge there is a modern, comfortable 3 piece suite where you can either gaze out to the stunning view or watch the flat panel TV. At the other side there is the 6 seater dining table, where you can eat in comfort and not miss a moment of the view. The main bedroom has a king size bed, and fitted wardrobes. It has a dressing table and chair, and a digital TV point. There is an en-suite bathroom with full sized bath. The lodge is fitted with gas fired central heating and there is an electric fire in the living room. We have fitted a 32” LCD TV, digital recordable Freeview Box & a DVD player. We have also provided a media centre with ipod docking station. The lodge has WiFi connectivity, so you can access the internet during your stay.
