Surrounded by riverside meadows, woodlands, moors and hills, the village provides a base for walking, climbing, caving and cycling breaks. Nearby Kilnsey Crag offers a geological wonder whilst the meandering river runs through the dramatic limestone features of the Wharfedale valley. Stump Cross Caverns provide a stunning show cave deep in the Yorkshire hills. Alternatively visit the village of Grassington with its stone cottages, cobbled streets and interesting Upper Wharfedale Museum.
