Bay Tree Farm offers both B&B and self-catering accommodation to guests. All our six B&B guest rooms are en-suite and fully equipped. Guests can relax in our spacious lounge with cosy wood burning stove. The farm is surrounded by beautiful gardens, & is ideally located in the historic village of Aldfield which has a 17th century church. Bay Tree Farm is the perfect base for branching out and exploring local attractions such as Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Deer Park.
Bay Tree Farm is a stewardship farm providing habitat for a wide variety of birds and wildlife including, curlews, lapwings, oyster catchers, grey partridge and brown hares. Evening meals are available on request. Valerie is a trained Home Economist and uses fresh produce sourced locally whenever possible, including beef from their own farm. There is ample car parking and it is a non smoking establishment. Trained dogs are welcome if the guest owners are accommodated on the ground floor.
All the bedrooms have views onto the garden and over open countryside. Most have high ceilings and exposed beams. They are all twin, double or a family room. Each has an individual character with window seats, stylish décor and are all en suite with either bath or shower. There are 6 guest rooms - 1 off the lounge, 3 upstairs (one of which is a large family room), and 2 rooms in the annexe. There is also a SEPERATE SELF-CATERING UNIT which provides accommodation for TWO PEOPLE, converted from the old horse stables.
There is ramp access to a large ground floor bedroom, with grab rails for the shower and toilet. Lever taps and a shower seat are provided. Special diets can also be catered for.
