Visit Websitefor more informationHere at Bondcroft Farm B&B we offer visitors the opportunity to stay on a working farm in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. We are well known for our breeding of sheep dogs, and you can even observe all aspects of their training and practice for sheep dog trials! Most evening you can watch Bobby working with the border collies showing you some of their training regime. The dogs are really friendly and love all the attention, as does our pony Meg and her foal. Your host Mrs Christine Clarkson offers you her personal attention at Bondcroft Farm and a warm welcome awaits you in the friendly farmhouse atmosphere. Here you can also enjoy our excellent food and wonderful Dales views. After an active day relax in our visitors' lounge where there is a collection of interesting books and Border Fine Art.
Nearby there are many sights and activities for all. You can enjoy quiet country walks, or visit historical landmarks all within easy reach of the farm. From Bondcroft Farm visit the local village’s three pubs, all are within easy walking distance. Relax and enjoy the country food, walk on Embsay Crag, or take a ride on the Embsay Steam Railway. Skipton, the "Gateway to the Dales", is only two miles away with its shopping, castle and country town facilities. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays experience the bustle of the Skipton market. Boat trips are also available from Skipton most days. A mere four miles away from Bondcroft is Bolton Abbey with the Priory and wonderful walks by the river to Strid wood and eventually Barden Towers. Grassington, Malham and Haworth are all short car drives away and provide a variety of other attractions such as visiting the Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth. If you fancy venturing even further, historic York is only 40 miles away.
We have 3 rooms that are en-suite with TV and tea and coffee-making facilities ensuring you feel right at home. Sweets and Chocolate biscuits are there for you to enjoy.Take in the magnificent views of the Yorkshire Dales from your bedroom window. The rooms are bright and very comfortable. On the cold winter evening enjoy the warm electric blankets.
When the weather changes to cold winter evenings, enjoy the lounge with its log fire and have a relaxing glass of wine, watch TV or read a good book. The bookcase holds many interesting books for you to read at your leisure. The family make all kinds of winter drinks including Sloe gin, Damson Vodka and all kinds of fruit drinks There is ample parking at Bondcroft Farm. It is a working farm, so no children or pets are allowed. There is no smoking in the house. We offer free WIFI.
