Situated in the beautiful town of Skipton Craven House is certainly an impressive place to stay. The rooms are all spaced over four floors, with a snug room in the basement that's furnished with a TV, PlayStation gaming console, dart board and sofa bed. Upstairs on the ground floor you'll find the country kitchen, which has a stunning Aga range cooker, as well as the dining room and warmly decorated living room, which has another TV in it.
Those of you that want to explore Skipton while you're staying there definitely won't be disappointed; there's more than enough things to keep you busy all holiday long and there are activities to suit everyone. If you want to go walking, the Yorkshire Dales National Park is right next door, while the town centre is packed with shops, restaurants and attractions. You can take a ride on a barge down the canal, tour the Craven Museum with its many exhibits or visit the beautiful Skipton Castle, which dates from medieval times.
All in all, there are seven bedrooms at Craven House, and each one is nice and spacious so you'll never feel cramped at the property. Starting on the first floor, there's one en suite double bedroom, a second double room and a twin bedroom. The second floor holds an en suite twin room, another en suite double and a further double bedroom. The sofa bed in the basement snug can sleep one person.
With its large visitors capacity, this holiday cottage is one of the best places to stay when it comes to group accommodation. If there are any young parents with babies and toddlers in your group you can request cots and high chairs, and up to 2 pets may stay with you. There is ample roadside parking available.
