West Leas Farm is ideally placed between the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Moors in stunning North Yorkshire. We're also very close to Ripon, with it's magnificent Cathedral, Market Square,Canal,Museums,Fountains Abbey and Lightwater Valley Theme Park. The farm itself is small and even the animals are friendly. The holiday cottages are the result of our recently-converted 18th C stone barn, offering three tastefully-appointed and well-equipped cottages which are perfect for holidays or short stays out of peak season. Both are within easy reach of beautiful Yorkshire countryside with waterfalls, caves and craggy hillsides. Walks direct from the garden gate into open fields.You're close to a variety of pretty market towns with cobbled squares. Peace and Quiet, beautiful views- but not isolation village shops/pubs one mile - Ripon six.

Three Cottages Archway, Granary or The Byre. All non smoking. Archway features the classic arch of the old barn door and magnificent views across fields and trees to a small lake and the moors beyond. Facilities include a lounge/diner with oak-beamed ceiling, a well-equipped oak kitchen with dishwasher, kettle, microwave, ceramic hob,fan oven and toaster. Archway has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) with exposed beams, and a fold-out bed and cot are available. The bathroom has a modern white suite, over-bath shower and shaver point. Relax in front of the TV & video or stereo with CD/cassette/radio. The property has double-glazing and oil-fired central heating throughout. It also has a delightful patio and garden at rear, with views over valley. Courtyard parking is available at the front. All heating and electricity is inclusive in the rent, as is bedding and towels. Guests are greeted with a welcome pack full of information on the area. Pets are welcome, but not allowed upstairs or on furniture, and stairgates are available. The Byre is much the same and again has two bedrooms. Granary is the smaller cottage with just one bedroom- but so cosy and yet full of character and perhaps our most popular cottage.
