Lucia and Graham Fisher welcome you to Clyde House, our 18th-century guest-house in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, located just off the historic market square. Clyde House is a 4 star Silver Award property. The building dates back to 1750 and we have done our best to preserve the history of the property, while providing modern comforts to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It's a former coaching inn offering a warm and friendly welcome and a high standard of en-suite Bed and Breakfast accommodation throughout the year. The property boasts south facing rooms with superb views over Wensleydale and Middleham Moor. Start the day right with our hearty breakfast beginning with a selection of cold options such as cereals, fruits, and yogurts followed by a cooked Yorkshire breakfast made using locally sourced food.

We are perfectly situated in Leyburn, the main market town in Wensleydale, and a great place to base yourself in order to visit all the local sights. Of course you can take part in many country activities such as fishing, walking, and shooting. If you enjoy history visit the Middleham Castle built in 1170 and later owned by the Tudors under whose rule it fell into disrepair. If a family day out interests you why not stop by the mystical Forbidden Corner, a four acre labyrinth with a massive glass pyramid, a temple of the underworld, various tricky paths and decisions to be made and amazing statues to wonder at along the way!
