The properties can sleep 2 to 4 people and one has wheelchair access,pet friendly . Enjoy a peaceful romantic, retreat in our light and airy decorated cottages, with exposed beams , cosy lounges & log burning fires. The kitchens are fully equipped and provide all that is needed to make snacks to three course meals! Each has an electric hob/ oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer / tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, toaster and kettle. The cottages enjoy lovely views towards the wolds and over the garden.If you want take a wander down the lane watch the lapwings and barn owls.
We are located in a tranquil and rural setting where you can witness spectacular sunsets and starry nights, making it an ideal setting for a romantic getaway. Being in such close proximity to York you can visit all the attractions and sights this fabulous medieval walled city. In both our cottages we offer a double bedroom, which can be a king or two single beds. There is also a living room with a quality double sofa bed.Both properties have an open plan kitchen/dining/living room and a private garden. Our Celadine Cottage boasts a fantastic wet room.While Curlew has a lovely bath with shower above it.The cottages are recently converted with quality furniture and fittings.With the original beams exposed and oriental carpets the interiors are special ,the log fires giving them that cosy feel.
In each cottage you will find Wi Fi ,an LCD TV, radio, collection of books, games, and tourist information. All linen and towels are provided. Our cottages have character log burning stoves. There is patio furniture and an enclosed private garden for each cottage. Secure private parking is available. Well behaved pets are welcome but at the owners discretion and there is a charge per animal.The cottages have WI-FI.Open views over beautiful country and gardens.Lots of wildlife,peace and quiet.Safe and secure.Plus a warm welcome.
