Holme Wold Cottage is a lovely 4 Gold star cottage sleeping 6-8 people, and situated in the Yorkshire Wolds on a working farm. This cottage was built over 100 years ago and was originally a workman’s cottage, recently renovated the property boasts a modern feel whilst retaining many original features and its character. This property is ideal for a relaxing getaway as you can take in the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Relax outside and enjoy this scenery from the cottage’s patio area where you can rest on the garden furniture. Inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen with all you need to make a delicious meal, and a dining area with an extendable table to accommodate your party. In the evenings curl up in front of the open log fire in the cosy sitting room.

During your stay at the Holme Wold Cottage you will find plenty to entertain you. Simply enjoy trying to spot various wildlife on our property including owls, pheasants, partridge, and the occasional deer. You can also observe our beautiful hens that roam the farm and our friendly dog Oscar. Of course the surrounding area is great for those wanting to be involved in outdoor activities such as cycling and walking, we even have a shed for storing bikes. There is also a pub and award winning restaurant within 2 miles where you can enjoy a refreshing beverage or delicious meal. We are close to the historic market towns of Beverley and Driffield, and we are near to Bridlington, Scarborough, York, and Hull.

The property can comfortably sleep 6 in 3 bedrooms and up to 8 with double sofa bed in the dining room. The cottage has two king sized bedrooms, one with a zip and link bed that allows for two 2'6' single beds on request. The property also has a twin bedroom with full sized beds, a family bathroom and ground floor shower room.

Special to this property

There is parking for three cars. The cottage has oil fired central heating throughout. All linen, towels, tea towels, heating and electricity are included. There is a washing machine for your use during your stay. For younger guests we can offer stair gates, a large fireguard, travel cot and highchair, please request at time of booking. For your entertainment we offer colour TV with free view, DVD player, CD/Radio and a selection of games and books for all ages. Two well behaved dogs are welcome at an additional cost. No Smoking is allowed in the cottage.
