A large four star self catering holiday cottage sleeping up to fourteen people in comfort in Skipton, the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Craven House is just 5 minuite walk from Skipton town centre. Skipton is a lively market town, voted the countries top market high street, with an ancient castle, beautiful parish church and a museum. There is a popular weekly market, and visitors can enjoy activities such as golf, swimming, squash, tennis, snooker and ten pin bowling, all within walking distance. There are a wide variety of pubs and restaurants in the town, providing food from all around the globe. Popular attractions within easy reach of Skipton include the Dales village of Grassington, Bolton Abbey, Malham, Haworth, Bronte Parsonage and the spa town of Harrogate.

There are many places to visit whilst staying at Craven House. Haworth Village is a picturesque gem, and will present you with many memorable attractions. You can learn about the Bronte Sisters and the wonderful novels they wrote, including 'Jane Eyre' and 'Wuthering Heights'. You may also want to visit the sets of the famous 1970 film 'The Railway Children'. Sites such as Haworth Railway Station are of iconic relevance to the film, you can see these on one of The Railway Children walks. Craven House is situated just 5mins walk from the train and bus stations so you could even leave your car at home.

Craven House has seven bedrooms, and is set over four floors. On the first floor, the lounge has basic satellite TV, DVD and CD player along with a marble fireplace with living flame gas fire. The dining room has a large dining table with seating for up to fourteen guests and a living flame gas fire in a period fire place. The kitchen has fitted units, dishwasher, Aga and gas cooker, microwave and a breakfast table for up to six people. A separate utility room houses a fridge, washer and dryer. There is a downstairs bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. In the basement there is a cosy TV and games room, also with bed settee. The first floor has two double bedrooms, one with en-suite, and two twin bedrooms. There is a second house bathroom which has a bath and overhead shower. On the second floor there is a further two double bedrooms, one with en-suite, and an en-suite twin bedroom. A third house bathroom services this floor. To the rear of the house is an enclosed courtyard area with table, chairs and barbecue for alfresco eating.
