Visit Websitefor more informationThe Ainsley is a small and family owned guest house offering excellent bed and breakfast accommodation in clean, comfortable surroundings, providing guests with a true home from home experience. Part of an early Victorian terrace built in 1850, the guest house boasts fantastic views overlooking Scarborough's magnificent North Bay, perfect for long coastal walks and warm summer days.
We are located in an ideal situation within walking distance of Scarborough's many amenities and attractions, towards the southern end of the North Bay. The historic Scarborough castle can be easily accessed by passing St Mary's Church and Anne Bronte's Grave. With its many bars, restaurants, shops and attractions, Scarborough is ideal for the whole family.
The accommodation consists of: five en suite double rooms (two of which enjoy panoramic views across the North Bay); one en suite twin room; and three standard (not en suite) single rooms. All rooms have TV, tea and coffee making facilities, shaver point and alarm clock, and guests have use of a comfortable TV lounge where an iron and ironing board are also available.
Parking permits are provided and guests have access to WIFI broadband. Full English breakfast is made with local ingredients, lighter options available, as are alternatives for vegetarians and other dietary requirements (by prior request, please).
