York Alternative Bed and Breakfast is exactly that, an alternative choice, completely non-smoking and offering the highest quality organic food. We are a cycle friendly bed and breakfast ideally situated in York, within 5 minutes walking distance from the railway station and York city centre. Relax and enjoy our superb homemade, local and organic produce.

Breakfast is pure pleasure at York Alternative B&B. Choice is considerable, depending on your preference. Breakfast can be 'Continental' and include fruit juice, yogurt, fruit, croissant, home made preserves and bread, a choice of teas and coffees. Or why not sample our excellent cooked breakfasts. There is a choice of egg dishes, local sausages, organic bacon and more, with, of course, vegetarian, vegan and other specialist options. We are happy to provide packed lunches on request. We offer two uniquely decorated rooms, a spacious, centrally heated double or a twin room. Each is fully equipped with remote control TV's, coffee and tea making facilities, and a hair dryer.
