Ashling House is a de-luxe self-catering town house ideally placed in the heart of York city centre just metres away from Micklegate Bar, yet in a quiet cul-de-sac. The house is decorated and furnished in a contemporary style, with marvellous views of York from some windows. Why not relax in comfort in the upstairs lounge, looking out onto York's medieval walls. Ashling House sits in a quiet new development, yet is close to York's superb specialist shops, and attractios such as York Minster. Furnished in modern styles, we have paid great attention to detail in this exclusive holiday, self catering accommodation. Ashling can sleep up to six adults in two double (one en-suite) and one twin room. Modern technology and cutting edge design are two key reasons which make Ashling House a special base in York. The house has an electronic garage door, and the garage provides off-street parking for our guest's car, with additional parking if needed. The property is fully alarmed, has individual room central heating control, instant hot water and double glazing. The kitchen is, designed in a beautiful Shaker Style, and includes a full range of amenities and accessories including fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and food disposal unit.

For the entertainment of our guests, there is a small games room/study, which contains a computer gaming machine (with games) and TV with video. In the main family lounge there is a stereo TV, DVD player, video and CD/Stereo player. There is also a small library of videos, DVDs, CD music, books and board games. At the rear of the house, there is a small courtyard garden furnished with a table/seating area and a BBQ. A washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board provide facilities for laundry whilst on holiday.

Each of our two double bedrooms (one en-suite) and one twin bedroom has been individually furnished with character and style. They all boast high quality comfortable mattresses, cosy quilts, fluffy bath towels and crisp ironed sheets. All rooms have thermostatically-controlled central heating, are freshly decorated and contain a host of personal touches.
