This listed building enjoys a central location in the picturesque seaside resort of Whitby. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the original fireplace, an en-suite bathroom and best of all, an uninterrupted view over the harbour that changes every time you look! The accommodation is ideal for a small family break or a romantic holiday by the Yorkshire coast.

While visiting Whitby experience the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, and the courage of stalwart Yorkshiremen who inspired the Whitby Lifeboat Museum. Enjoy Whitby Abbey and traverse the winding cobbled streets which lead to the quaint, traditional harbour. The West Cliff attractions include bumper boats, a miniature railway and motorised go-karts, with a disabled accessible go-kart. Don't forget the thriving goth scene in Whitby, with WGW every April and October.

The kitchen provides dining for up to six people and all those essentials for holiday living - a dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave (and don't forget to look in the fridge for your complimentary bottle of wine). The 21' lounge boasts harbour views from its false balcony on one side, and overlooks the street from the other. There's a stereo, a DVD player, and a selection of films, CDs, books, and games on hand for you to enjoy. It also has a special feature - a tiny study in which you can read, daydream or even work!

We want to make your holiday as care-free as possible, so we'll provide the little extras that make all the difference. You'll find soft towels at the end of the bed when you arrive and you needn't worry about bringing your own tea towels. Books, CDs, DVDs and games all help to make this a home from home experience. For pre-schoolers, we'll even provide child-sized cutlery and crockery, a box of toys and a teddy for the duration of the stay! A travel cot and high-chair are also available.

Availability information

We will happily take bookings for short breaks (2 nights minimum); we try to be as flexible as we can with dates! High season and 7-night bookings run from Friday to Friday.
