Luxury 4 star apartment in the heart of Whitby, harbour views from lounge and master bedroom

The luxury Whitby Retreats holiday home is found tucked away next to the Captain Cook museum on the fascinating and historical street in old Whitby called Grape Lane. Captain Cook once lived on this street that winds down to Whitby Harbour. You will find a calm place of relaxation that you will want to keep coming back to. Sleeps 4 (+1) in two generous bedrooms, with two bathrooms.

We want to make your holiday as care-free as possible, so we’ll provide the little extras that make all the difference. You’ll find soft towels at the end of the bed when you arrive and you needn’t worry about bringing your own tea towels. Books, CDs, DVDs and games all help to make this a home from home experience. For pre-schoolers, we’ll even provide child-sized cutlery and crockery, a box of toys and a teddy for the duration of the stay! A travel cot and high-chair are also available.

Rooms Description

The house bathroom has a generous bath with shower fittings, and is situated next door to the twin bedroom. Housing two single beds, this room can also accommodate a foldaway bed or cot, if required. The master bedroom has a double bed, the original fireplace and an en-suite bathroom with a shower cubicle - and, best of all, an uninterrupted view over the harbour that changes every time you look!

Specialities

The kitchen provides dining for up to six people and all those essentials for holiday living - a dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave (and don’t forget to look in the fridge for your complimentary bottle of wine). The 21’ lounge boasts harbour views from its false balcony on one side, and overlooks the street from the other. There’s a stereo, a DVD player, and a selection of films, CDs, books, and games on hand for you to enjoy. It also has a special feature - a tiny study in which you can read, daydream (or even work!).
