Welcome to Church View B&B, ideally located in the pretty village of Stockton on the Forest, very close to York city centre. Situated opposite the village church, the B&B is just three miles from the historic city. This former farmhouse is over 200 years old and offers high quality bed and breakfast ideal for couples, families and even groups who can be accommodated in our Bunk House. We are the ideal base from which to explore the area, from York to the surrounding towns and village. We can provide cycle hire so why not join us for a cycling mini break or holiday?
There is so much to see and do in York and the surrounding areas. From exploring the city walls, Shambles and famous York Minster to enjoying the unique shops, cafés and restaurants. The area is perfect for walkers, whether you wish to explore the towns and villages or the surrounding countryside. The east coast and north Yorkshire Moors 'Heartbeat' country are less than an hour away whilst Castle Howard home of Brides Head Revisited is a 15 minute drive.
We have a 4 poster bedroom, triple room and ground floor family room available. All rooms are ensuite and can be adapted to double or twin bedrooms too. Relax in our cosy visitors lounge tastefully decorated with quality furnishings overlooking the village church where you can watch TV or listen to music. Wake up to a delicious Continental breakfast served in our dining area.
Our Bunk House offers budget accommodation in large room with bunk beds sleeping 15 to 20 people. You will need to bring sleeping bags and towels. A double shower, toilet, basic kitchen and a wood burning stone is provided.
