Keepers Cottage is the ideal base to explore North Yorkshire. Situated in the pretty village of Gillamoor. At one end of the village, the picturesque church of St Aidan sits on 'Surprise View', enjoy dramatic and panoramic views of the moors. The North York Moors is a walker's paradise. There is a comprehensive network of footpaths and cycle trails to enjoy whilst admiring the breathtaking scenery. Historic York is within an easy hours drive and closer, you will find a host of picturesque market towns and tourist attractions to visit.
Keepers Cottage is all one level and sleeps up to 4. Comprising of one double bedroom and one twin room. Spacious lounge/ dining room with open fire and plenty of comfortable seating. Including television, freeview, DVD player & cd player. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, washing machine, microwave, fridge & freezer. The bathroom suite consists of bath with shower over. Bed linen and towels are included and the cottage is centrally heated.
Keepers Cottage is situated in a peaceful and idyllic location. In the warmer months enjoy sitting out in the orchard. The orchard has apple and plum trees together with bushes of red and black currants. There is a paved area for a portable barbecue which may be borrowed free of charge.For the comfort of other visitors, we do not accept pets and smoking in the cottage is not allowed.
