Steeped in history stretching back to Roman times, through the age of the Vikings, York eventually became one of Europe's most important mediaeval cities. Beautiful and peaceful the Yorkshire Wolds stretch from the chalk cliffs at Flamborough Head to the Humber Estuary. With gentle hills, picturesque villages and lively market towns this area offers visitors a restful break away from it all. Ideal for walkers and ramblers the terrain is easy going. The 'Wolds Way' can be walked in a number of easy stretches, extending right across the Wolds. Choose from a selection of contemporary and stylish apartments in York, some within York's city walls, or try the Old Smithy, recently renovated with a rustic red brick fireplace, in historic Ripon, with it's superb cathedral. We offer special late booking deals and flexible short breaks throughout the year. Some of our properties offer two person discounts of up to 20% from November to April inclusive, but this excludes Christmas, New Year, February Half Term and Easter. These discounts do not apply to short breaks or late availability offers. We are open 7 days a week, 9am to 9pm.
