Gorgeous well equipped comfy country cottages in lovely field & woodland location near Harrogate.

Rudding Estate Cottages are situated in a peaceful, rural setting in the Yorkshire Countryside, are ideally located between Harrogate, Knaresborough and Wetherby. The cottages offer self-catering family accommodation and are traditional private country estate properties, surrounded by fields and woodland and reached by a private estate road. Children and pets are very welcome and ground floor accomodation is available. The cottages have their own gardens and there is ample parking space. The Cottages are available on a long let basis from November to April.

The picturesque village of Follifoot, which has two pubs, both serving food, and a post office shop is just one mile from the cottages. Central Harrogate is only three miles away and the holiday cottages provide the perfect base for visitors attending shows and exhibitions at the Harrogate International Centre and the Yorkshire Showground. The Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorks Moors are within easy reach of the cottages for walkers and nature lovers and York and Leeds are equally accessible for sightseers, race goers and shoppers.

Rooms Description

All our delightful cottages are situated in a peaceful, rural location surrounded by fields and woodland and approached by a private estate road. Each cottage has lovely views of the Yorkshire countryside, a large garden area and ample car parking space. The cottages are centrally heated, comfortably furnished and fully equipped with high quality fittings, utensils and appliances that conform to the English Tourism Council standards. Each cottage has a washer/drier, microwave, colour television and pay phone. Linen, towels, electricity and central heating are included in the holiday hire charge and cots and high chairs are available on request. Children and well behaved pets are welcome in all of our properties, although the Gun Room is not suitable for larger dogs. Ground floor accomodation is available in all of the properties.

The choice of holiday cottages available includes The Gun Room, a cosy, compact, friendly cottage that sleeps 2 people. All accommodation is on ground level and comprises a bed sitting room with comfortable drop down double bed, kitchen/diner and shower room / WC. For a more spacious cottage choose Claro Beagle Cottage. This pretty red brick cottage, which sleeps 4 to 6 people, can be divided into two separate units each sleeping 3 people. All of the accommodation is on ground level. Following extensive renovations and redecoration, Keepers Cottage is now available. On the ground floor the accommodation comprises a large sitting room with open fire, the well appointed country kitchen/dining room, a new family room with double/twin beds, and a sofa bed and a newly fitted shower room/WC. The accommodation remains suitable for 8-10 people with the sofa beds in the family rooms sleeping one person.
