The Cayley Arms is a traditional public house at the foot of the North York Moors offering comfortable and affordable bed and breakfast accommodation. The inn is located in the friendly village of Allerston, close to the ancient market town of Pickering, and has five tastefully appointed and homely guest rooms. All rooms are en-suite and doubles and twins are available as well as a family room which can sleep up to 4. Enjoy a drink in the cosy bar or a delicious evening meal in the dining room which overlooks the quiet beer garden.
Whether you're on a business or leisure stay, the Cayley Arms is the ideal accommodation. The inn has excellent transport links, with a direct route to both Scarborough and Pickering and a regular bus route. Walkers can enjoy a number of spectacular walks in the local area and the North Yorkshire Moors are just a short distance away. Pickering has a number of interesting places to see and things to do, including Pickering Castle, the Beck Isle Museum and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and nearby Malton is home to the remains of a Roman fort and Eden Camp, a military themed museum. For a day trip out, Scarborough is just 12 miles away, the seaside resort of Whitby is about half an hour away and the historic city of York is about 45 minutes away.

The Cayley Arms has five comfortable en-suite rooms. All rooms are bright and tastefully decorated, and the main bar is located at the opposite end of the pub ensuring a quiet stay. There are 3 double rooms and 2 twin rooms, with one of the rooms large enough to be made into a family room with the addition of 2 extra beds. In the morning an excellent breakfast is served starting with cereals, toast, a hot drink and juice followed by a full English breakfast. Special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice.
The inn serves excellent home cooked food, with starters, mains and desserts served and vegetarian options available. The Cayley Arms also has a large garden par, a quiet beer garden with a stream running through it, a darts room and a lounge bar, as well as the main bar and dining area. All guests can be sure of a warm welcome and an enjoyable stay.
