The spacious and historic Wentworth House Hotel is situated in the village of Aldbrough, just east of Hull. Both business and leisure guests can expect a warm welcome and friendly hospitality. The hotel is the perfect choice for event hosting, and makes an ideal location for individuals who are working and require a home base or who are relocating into the area. We offer short term or long term stays, and of course relaxing breaks. Our business facilities enable us to cater for a variety of business events. Whether you require a long stay, a weekend break or just bed and breakfast, we can accommodate all your needs and requirements. Our spacious lounges provide seating both by the hotel bar and a separate television viewing area. The main lounge area is also used as a small conference area and has modern presentation facilities. The room is also used for pre-booked meals and is ideal for small to medium parties.
For business we can provide limited photocopying facilities, and Internet and fax facilities are available on request. Evening meals, light lunches and snacks are also available on request. The Wentworth House Hotel Dining Room caters for 14 people in comfortable surroundings. The menu at every meal has the emphasis on good quality home cooking. Many ingredients are locally produced including our own truly free range eggs! Up to 30 people can be provided with a table based meal and 50 as a buffet when the separate restaurant area is used. Cream teas and crab sandwiches are available during the summer on the lawns or in the dining room.
The Wentworth House Hotel has 7 unique Bedrooms all with direct line telephones, TVs, radio alarm clocks, hair dryer, trouser press, stationery plus tea and coffee making facilities. All but one are en-suite rooms. In addition to this we have, on request, an ironing facility. A separate Jacuzzi is available for all our guests.
The Wentworth House Hotel Bar has a fine selection of spirits and popular beers. The bar area and lounge is the perfect place to relax after a busy day and a good meal. Digital TV, DVD, Video and Music systems are available for guests use. Wentworth House is ideal for small exclusive ceremonies. We can cater for up to 60 guests (buffet style) or 25 guests at a formal meal, and provide a very personalised service. For most events guests will enjoy sole use of the premises and enjoy a ceremony that has been specifically designed for the participants. From ceremony to evening buffet we will advise and provide, where required, food, drink, flowers and music. Apart from the traditional Wedding ceremony we also provide for Renewal of vows, Commitment, Naming and Citizenship ceremonies.
