Nestling on the edge of Pickering market town, Hungate Cottages are the perfect holiday base from which to explore the North York Moors and Yorkshire Coast. Town centre amenities and the famous steam railway running all the way to Whitby are within walking distance and York is within easy driving distance. The cottages are beautifully converted Georgian limestone farm buildings centred around two pretty courtyards. All cottages include free WiFi, open fires and family facilities, with shared on-site parking, a children's playground and utility room.
Rated 'Excellent' by our TripAdvisor reviewers, guests have a choice of 11 holiday cottages sleeping from 4 to 11. Each cottage includes a fully fitted kitchen with a washer/ dryer, fridge and freezer or combined fridge/ freezer, tea towels and a cafetiere. All except Farndale feature king size double beds, with duvets, linen and towels provided. Sitting rooms are cosy and warm with open fires and free logs provided plus flatscreen TVs with Freeview, DVDs, CD/ cassette players and DAB radios with iPod docks.
