This charming old stone cottage is non-smoking throughout, and set in the heart of Kettlewell village in a quiet corner overlooking the beck and valley sides. Guests have easy access to all local amenities as the cottage is within easy walking distance of shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. Sunters Cottage was renovated in 2005, and combines traditional charm with all modern amenities. Kettlewell village is also the perfect base for touring and branching out to explore all of the Yorkshire Dales. Activities nearby include mountain biking, horse riding, fishing and hiking. For the comfort of all our guests sorry, we do not welcome pets.
Situated in the small village of Kettlewell in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Sunters Cottage offers guests a secluded base surrounded by picturesque scenery. From here you can venture into the village and discover the many small shops or stop for afternoon tea in Zarina's traditional Tea Room. The village is also home to some of the best and most fascinating walks in the Dales, either walking along the fell or along the river. Cyclists can also take to the paths and quiet country lanes to discover all of the stunning views of the countryside.
Amenities and facilities are numerous in this charming holiday cottage, and include an electric cooker with grill,microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, automatic washer/dryer, colour TV and DVD, an immersion heater, underfloor heating, bath and shower and night storage heating which is included in rent. All electricity is also included in the rent, as is linen. Guests can relax in the delightful patio area with garden chairs overlooking the village green and beck. Try the BBQ/Brazier on those warm summer evenings. There is a small patio wall but care must be taken with small children as there is a small drop into the field in front that leads to the beck.
Wonderful cosy atmosphere, well equipped and fantastic views of the village whilst quiet and peaceful setting.
