Here at the Lion we offer a warm welcome, mouth watering, homemade food and comfortable guest rooms with en-suite facilities. Come in after a day exploring the Yorkshire Dales and sit by the roaring fire with a warming hot chocolate or something a little stronger! We've worked hard to create a welcoming and rustic atmosphere yet we've fused it together with modern technology so that you can watch your favourite programmes on a flat screen television and connect to our WiFi. Whether you're looking for an overnight stay or a longer break away, we'd be delighted to accommodate you.

We have 14 rooms in total, all of which have been extensively renovated to include sumptuously comfortable beds with plump squishy pillows and duvets so cosy you'll not want to move, flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and an en-suite bathroom complete with complimentary toiletries. In the morning, follow the tantalising aroma of the freshly cooked Yorkshire breakfast to the dining room where you can feast upon tasty local produce including eggs, sausages and bacon.
