A friendly and welcoming Airton Guest House, located in the scenic limestone beauty of the Yorkshire Dales, two miles from Malham. Optional evening meals.
Lindon House is a family friendly guest house in the Yorkshire Dales National Park village of Airton, an old Quaker village two miles from Malham. The house is set just a few yards from the River Aire and Pennine Way and enjoys beautiful panoramic limestone views. The popular Dales centre of Malham, lying a short distance away, is famous for the 300 ft high Malham Cove from which bubbles the Malham Beck, a tributary of the River Aire.
Kirkby Malham is one mile away and was once home to Bill Bryson, author of 'Notes from a Small Island', in which he wrote of the beauty of the surrounding landscape. In the opposite direction lies Gargrave, a pretty village through which the Leeds Liverpool Canal runs. Settle, Carlise, Skipton and the romantic ruins of the 12th Century Bolton Abbey can all also be found within easy reach of the accommodation.
Lindon Guest House offers one twin and several double rooms, all of which have private facilities, tea and coffee trays and TV. There is a large guest lounge where you will find a colour TV - alternatively, why not relax with a drink in the small licensed bar?
Optional evening meals are available in the dining room by arrangement. We now have broadband internet.
