Book OnlineCheck price and availabilityRowan House Cottage is a stone built holiday property situated in a hillside position approximately two miles from the village of Giggleswick and the market town of Settle on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. This spacious three bedroom stone-built house can accommodate as many as 6 people. The cottage is an excellent choice for families or groups of friends and couples looking to discover and explore the wonders of the National Park. It can also be booked with the adjoining cottage and another onsite to provide self catering accommodation for up to 16 people, making it ideal for celebrations or parties of walkers, climbers & cyclists or golf societies.
Giggleswick and Settle each offer a different taste of the Yorkshire Dales. Giggleswick is a small, quiet village known mostly as the location of one of the principal public schools in Northern England, the prestigious Giggleswick School, whilst Settle is a bustling market town with a popular weekly market and a good variety of places to eat, drink and shop. The local area offers a range of outdoor pursuits from the many walks and cycle routes that popularise the Dales, to rock climbing at the nearby Castlebergh limestone crag, and exploring the several interesting natural caves nearby. Both Giggleswick and Settle are served by train stations with rail links to Leeds.
The cottage forms a trio of cottages on the same site and these share use of a garden and ample parking facilities. There is a private seating area that is complete with garden furniture, ideal for when the climate gets warmer. Should you need them, entertainment options at the cottage are provided by a freeview TV with DVD player, and a CD/Radio system. Bed linen is provided; pre fitted, and is included in the cost of rental along with any fuel and electricity used during your stay. Should you require them, a high chair and travel cot can be provided. The property is pet friendly and welcomes two pets provided they are house trained.
