Historic Liverpool House was built in 1756 and is a grade II listed building, exquisitely converted, and situated in the quiet conservation area of Settle, within walking distance to the town centre and close to the renowned three peaks area of the Yorkshire Dales. Liverpool House is perfectly placed for walking the Dales, enjoying the market town of Settle or taking a trip on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway. The guesthouse has been recently upgraded to the highest of standards, and each of the bedrooms now reflect the original character of the property. Owners Janet and Byron are no strangers to running a guest house. They previously owned a bed a breakfast in Scotland. Both are locals of Settle, and decided to return to the Yorkshire Dales. Guests should note it is recommended that Liverpool House is only suitable for children above the age of nine. It is a non-smoking house and there is a no-dogs policy in place for the comfort of all our guests. Check in times are 2pm and there is 24hour access to the guest house for your convenience. Each room is provided with a front door key for ease of access. No need to worry about parking, the guesthouse also has a large car park for residents. There are several excellent local restaurants serving a variety of cuisines within five minutes walking distance from Liverpool House, and all the menus are displayed in the bedrooms for guests to peruse.
The guesthouse has many amenities and facilities, including a spacious dining room area where guests can relax with open fire, a functional kitchen area, and six beautifully decorated bedrooms, all with en-suite or private bathroom facilities. The B&B is full of character and charm, with fabulous beamed bedrooms at the top of the house. All our uniquely styled rooms befit the period of the property, and are fully equipped with colour TV and a hospitality tray.
