They're often in secluded locations, with everything you need for a great holiday or a self-catered short break. Beech Lodge, in Masham, is no exception. Just under four miles from the town centre, the lodge sits in a peaceful location that makes it easy to forget you're so conveniently close to civilisation. There are four lodges in the area, and yours will be set down a long country lane with verandah seating to the front, and access to shared lawned areas. With internal wooden furnishings, the lodge keeps that close-to-nature feel, yet with electricity and gas at your disposal you'll remain warm, cosy, and able to cook without the need to sit outside with a couple of sticks or a magnifying glass.
If you choose to get out and about, you won't be disappointed. Nearby, in Masham, there are two weekly markets, but the shopping can go on every day of the week with general shops, gift shops and craft centres dotted throughout the market square. Visit local galleries, or enjoy a trip to Masham's very own Black Sheep Brewery - of course, you'll be required to do a taste test if you're over 18! Meanwhile, if you'd prefer just to enjoy the natural offerings, you'll find beautiful walking trails including a ten-mile walk along the River Ure.
Beech Lodge sleeps up to four people - a family-friendly holiday property. There are two bedrooms - one twin room, and one bunk room - both sharing a bathroom with over-bath shower. A small fitted kitchen leads to a spacious lounge area. Electric heaters warm every room of the property, and there are dining facilities on site.
Being family friendly, Beech Lodge offers facilities for every member of your party. A cot and high chair are available on request, whilst four-legged family members are equally as welcome, for a fee of £15 per dog per week (up to two well-behaved pets catered for).
