Hazelwood Castle, a former monastery and retreat, is now "the best kept secret in yorkshire", offering luxury hotel accommodation, the perfect place for a extra special break or to celebrate your wedding. Hazlewood Castle has a room especially for private dining, for 8-16 people, and a more social fine dining restaurant for our guests. Our experienced Wedding Co-ordinators will work with you throughout the planning process of your wedding, offering support and advice every step of the way.
Our 'Masterclass' cooking course is perfect for those who are passionate about cooking, and enjoy joining in with some culinary fun for an afternoon. The class offers a 'hands on' cooking demonstration and an informative tutorial. We have twenty-five bedrooms and suites at Hazlewood. All bedrooms are beautifully decorated to the highest standards, with great care taken to enhance their natural beauty, Gilchrist & Soames products, co-ordinated cushions and furnishing, plus luxury duvets are in all rooms as standard.
We have twenty-five bedrooms and suites at Hazlewood. Nine of them are situated in the main castle and twelve are in our court yard area "St Margarets" which is located in our picturesque Courtyard, and four in the newly refurbished keep. We ask that guests vacate their room by 11.00am on the day of departure, unless a prior arrangement has been agreed with the manager
