Pickersgill Manor Farm B&B is located on Silsden Moor, a working sheep farm situated in Ilkely Moor, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Family owned and run, our friendly and informal atmosphere means we are the ideal place to relax and unwind, whether you are on holiday, or wish to escape from the city whilst on business. Our central location means we are the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding areas.
Many attractions and pretty Yorkshire towns and villages are to be found nearby, including Bolton Abbey, Skipton, Haworth/Bronte country and Ilkley, all of which are within a 15 minutes drive. The Spa town of Harrogate, historic York, The Yorkshire Dales National Park, Leeds and Bradford are also within easy driving distance. Pickersgill is perfect for walkers, with beautiful surrounding scenery and challenging walks to suit everybody whether you prefer a gentle stroll at Bolton Abbey or a long walk over the limestone uplands of Malham. There are a host of excellent pubs and restaurants in the surrounding towns and villages.
We have two attractively appointed rooms available to guests and we can cater for single and/or business people, couples and families of all ages. All our rooms are large, have fantastic views, colour televisions, tea and coffee facilities, sofas, central heating and hair dryers. Our ground floor is suitable for those who can’t manage stairs. There is a threshold into the room and a small step into the bathroom.
For those who have spent enough time in the car or walking on the hills we can offer A Tray Supper, a main course, dessert and a drink. It will be home made, often home produce and you won’t need seconds! £12.50 per person. Or Afternoon Tea, sandwiches, fresh home made scones with jam and clotted cream, cakes and tea. £8.00 per person. Packed lunches are available for £6.50 per person. (24hrs notice required and subject to availability).
