The cottage is traditionally furnished, and well-equipped, with a cosy lounge, an open fire, and a rear garden. It's surrounded by woodland walks, and close to the River Greta, making it perfect for a more active break, but also within easy reach of market towns for those who prefer to shop.
A selection of shops can be found within a two minute walk of Lonsdale Cottage, as well as pubs and restaurants serving a wide range of meals and drinks. Staying on site, you'll have access to your enclosed garden with BBQ facilities, whilst those preferring to travel further afield can park their car at the roadside whilst staying in the cottage. You'll find secure bike storage facilities, and have easy access to fantastic walking and cycling trails including the Ingleton Waterfalls Walk and the Three Peaks trail. Also nearby, potteries and craft centres offer opportunities to pick up a beautiful local souvenir.
There are two bedrooms at Lonsdale Cottage (one double, one single) sharing a shower room with shower, sink and WC. A well-equipped fitted kitchen leads to a lounge with a seating area and dining facilities, and there's an open fire perfect for warming cold feet after a lengthy winter walk.
For your entertainment, you'll find a small library of books and games at Lonsdale Cottage. If you're travelling with a young child, you'll also have access to a highchair by arrangement. Dozens of little features will make your holiday a little easier, and one well-behaved dog will be welcome to stay with you for the duration of your break.
