Located in the beautiful rolling countryside of the Esk Valley and overlooking Sleights is the village of Aislaby. This lovely rural settlement is just three miles from nearby Whitby and is populated with pretty sandstone cottages clustered around a main street. The community is served by the old church whilst the surrounding area provides interesting features such as the famous church of St Hedda with its unique, painted ceiling, walks through the beautiful Arncliffe Woods and the old mill on the banks of the River Esk.
