Cherry Tree Cottage in Sheriff Hutton is a wonderful place to stay throughout the year, and its central location means that you're within easy access of numerous attractions. This ground floor cottage can sleep a maximum of six guests and has an attractively decorated lounge that's furnished with plush seating and a warming open fire, as well as a fully fitted kitchen and a separate dining room for the whole family. The front garden is well maintained and there are beautiful views out into the countryside from many of the windows.
This holiday cottage is situated close to the majestic ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle, which are definitely worth a visit while you're staying there. The castle dates from the mid 1100s and was built in a motte-and-bailey style. Another notable historic building in the area is Castle Howard, which is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful stately homes in England and is just six miles from the cottage. For a day out in the countryside why not follow one of the public footpaths from the village centre?

There are a total of three bedrooms at Cherry Tree Cottage, each of which features beautiful country views. There are two double bedrooms, one of which has an en suite shower room, and one twin bedroom. The beds in the twin room are adult sized, although children can also sleep in them.
