The cottage provides excellent self catering accommodation for up to six people and is also pet friendly so guests can bring along their four-legged friends too. The property is well equipped and has been tastefully decorated to appeal to both families, groups & couples who will surely enjoy gathering around the feature stone fireplace with its wood-burning stove in winter or sitting and enjoying the superb views and fresh country air in the spacious shared garden.
Situated on the edge of the National Park, Giggleswick is a small village that has a few small shops and traditional Dales pubs, it is perhaps most famous for the Giggleswick School and its famous domed chapel, though it has become popular with rock climbers thanks to the challenging climbs at the limestone scar that overlooks the village, and with walkers wanting to challenge themselves with the Three Peaks Walk nearby. a short walk of around 20 minutes will find you in Settle town centre, where there is a good selection of local, independent shops, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants and the weekly street market held every Tuesday.
Accommodation at Willow Cottage in Giggleswick is comprised of two twin bedrooms and a master bedroom with double bed. All bedrooms share use of the family bathroom that has both a bath and separate shower cubicle. Living areas at the property consist of the characterful sitting room, with its beamed ceiling and lovely fireplace. Self catering is made easy in the fitted kitchen where there is a full range of appliances and utilities, and in the wood floored dining room.
Willow Cottage is heated by a combination of the woodburning stove in the lounge and electric storage heaters throughout the property. All energy and heating costs, including a starter bag of fuel, are included in the price of rental. Linen for the 3 bedroom and use of a travel cot and high-chair are also included. Parking is free too, with ample room at the property for more than one vehicle. The property can accommodate two well-behaved pets.
