The "Old Vic" meaning Old Victorian is a 19th century town house tastefully decorated to a high standard and conveniently situated just a short walk from York town centre. This family run, highly recommended non smoking guest house sits just minutes away from York's Medieval Streets, reached by taking a leisurely stroll along the pleasant Riverside Walk. Free on street parking with no restrictions is available to residents, and guests enjoy an extensive breakfast menu, with a choice of cereals, fruit juice and as much tea/coffeee and toast as you like. As well as tea/coffee we also offer herbal and fruit teas, Earl Grey, decaffeinated tea and coffee and fruit squash.
Both a vegetarian and childrens menu is offered, along with hearty English breakfasts served to you in the comfortable dining room. All of our 8 rooms are stylishly decorated, and all have en-suite shower, toilet, shaver point and washbasin.
