Bywater Lake is a luxury log cabin situated in a small, tranquil village in Newport, at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds. The cabin includes exclusive use of a 3 acre lake for fishing, set within 9 acres of landscaped gardens, woodland and meadows. The lake is over 100 years old and has matured to form a diverse habitat for wildlife and fish. The lodge has a large veranda with hot tub, overlooking a patio area with barbecue provided for the perfect relaxing holiday. Take a lovely canal side walk or bicycle ride to the small friendly village of Newport with 3 pubs, 2 shops, 1 restaurant and 3 takeaways.( Please note:- adult only 2011)

There are many other attractions nearby such as The Wetlands Nature Reserve, the historic town of Howden and Beverley, Goole Waterways Museum, the Deep Aquarium, the east coast and the historic City of York with attractions such as York Dungeons, Jorvik Viking Centre, Castle Museum, National Railway Museum, York Minster and plenty more.
