In the historic seaside resort of Whitby, rolling moors and a large sandy beach surround the area where guests can enjoy many local activities from fishing and boating to wandering through art galleries and exploring the history of Bram Stokers Dracula.

Perched at the edge of a wide sweeping bay, surrounded by lofty cliffs, lies the old fishing village of Robin Hoods Bay. Once an important fishing community, before sail gave way to steam, the village had one of the largest fishing fleets on the Yorkshire Coast. The guests of cottages situated in this area can enjoy anything from wandering down the narrow, twisting, cobbled streets and alleyways to exploring the many interesting places on the North East Coast and North Yorkshire Moors. There are also riding and pony trekking centres to keep the young ones entertained.
