Four beautiful properties which have been lovingly converted from farm buildings to provide modern, well-appointed and comfortable holiday homes.They feature cosy underfloor heating as well as welcoming wood-burning stoves and have all the first rate facilities you need like a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and very well equipped kitchens
After a busy day exploring the wonderful countryside, the children will be entertained when they arrive back at the cottages. We've a fantastic games room featuring a full size snooker table, table football and table tennis. There's a large video/DVD library, a range of board games and lots of books. The younger children will enjoy our Wendy house and a great play barn with a large sand pit and lots of rides on toys.
All our cottages are fantastic! They've got spacious living rooms and farmhouse-style kitchens.The Granary is ideal for large families, sleeping 8-10 people, The Byre sleeps 6 people, Meadow View sleeps 4 people and The Stable sleeps 2 people. There are plenty of cots and high-chairs available on request. The Granary and The Byre also have stair-gates and all the cottages have fire-guards for that extra piece of mind. The cottages boast vaulted beamed ceilings, with stone floors throughout, creating a character atmosphere. The underfloor heating makes each cottage warm and welcoming, and for those cooler evenings the log burning stove is very cosy whilst 'sinking' in to the comfy sofas. Each cottage has a spa bath ideal for a relaxing holiday and making bath time fun for the children. All properties have modern appliances, well equipped kitchens, car parking, a patio and furniture, barbecue, duvets with linen and towels.
We've thought of everything for the family! There are 15 bikes of various sizes featuring child seats, a piggy back bike and a bike trailer, for guests to use free of charge (please bring own helmets). You'll have shared use of a games room with a full-size snooker table and table tennis, whilst for the young children there's a large sand pit, pedal tractors, trailers and diggers and Wendy house. Various outdoor games are available and a football goal. For the keen fisherman there's a well stocked fishing pond which guests are welcome to use free of charge, but please bring your own equipment.
